Anil Bidkar, PhD
Postdoctoral Scholar
A dedicated researcher and scientist with expertise in biosciences and bioengineering, I contribute to cancer imaging and therapy research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California San Francisco. With a Ph.D. from IIT Guwahati, I focus on cancer therapeutics, recognized with awards like the Early Investigator Award from the Department of Defence.
Research Interests
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California San Francisco, specializing in prostate cancer imaging and therapy using targeted radiopharmaceuticals. My recent work at RR Animal Health Care involved the development of real-time PCR kits for COVID-19. My research has been recognized with honors such as the Early Investigator Award from the Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Research Program. My Ph.D. work at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati focused on cancer therapy, signaling pathways, and nanocarrier-mediated cancer cell-targeted therapy. My research contributions include publications on topics such as organic co-crystals, radiopharmaceutical imaging, and alpha particle radioimmunotherapy for prostate cancer. My expertise includes molecular biotechnology techniques, nanocarrier preparation, and instrumentation, making me well-equipped for cancer research and therapeutics.
