About

I am a dedicated researcher and scientist with a strong background in biosciences and bioengineering, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California San Francisco. My work focuses on prostate cancer imaging and therapy with targeted radiopharmaceuticals, aiming to advance cancer treatment. Previously, I contributed significantly to the development of Real-time PCR kits for COVID-19 as a Scientist in Research & Development at RR Animal Health Care.

My academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Biosciences & Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, with a dissertation on a multifaceted approach for cancer therapeutics. I also hold an MS (Pharm) in Biotechnology from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guwahati, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from AES's College of Pharmacy, Pune. My research has been recognized with awards such as the Early Investigator Award from the Department of Defence, Prostate Cancer Research Program, USA, and the Preclinical Imaging Research Application Funding from Radiology, UCSF. Honored with news coverage from the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, for developing and supplying COVID-19 RT-PCR kits to hospitals, I am committed to making meaningful contributions to biosciences and bioengineering.
